About us

A Valencia export house built around one problem

Most European suppliers sell a container of one product. A lot of importers cannot use that. We exist because the gap between those two facts is where a great deal of trade does not happen.

What we actually do

We are a food and drink export house in Valencia. We hold representation for more than twenty European manufacturers, we consolidate their products into a single container, and we issue the export documentation that gets it across your border.

That last part is the half people underestimate. Sourcing is the easy side of this business. Making sure a consignment of chilled meat arrives with the right veterinary certificate, the right establishment numbers and the right origin paperwork is where shipments are actually won and lost.

The record, in numbers rather than adjectives

We have been shipping from Spain to Georgia every month since 2021. The current running volume is 22 tons of meat and charcuterie, 21 tons of cheese and dairy, and 65 tons of juice, every month.

Those shipments go to supermarket and restaurant chains including Spar, Daily, Gvirila, Magniti, Ioli, M Group, Smart, Express Lunch and Burger Lomebi. We name them because they are checkable, and because a company you have not heard of should expect to be checked.

Why Georgia matters to a buyer in Kyiv or Almaty

It is the same operation. The same manufacturers, the same consolidation, the same document set and the same team. Georgia is simply the market where it has been running longest, so it is the one where we can show you a record rather than describe a capability.

European, not only Spanish

Spain is where we are and where most of our manufacturers are, but a Spain-only house cannot fill a mixed container properly. We source from Poland for dairy and processed meat, Portugal for olive oil, Italy for coffee, and Turkey for seasonal lines.

That breadth is not a boast. It is the mechanical requirement behind consolidation: to fill one container with what a buyer actually needs, you have to be able to reach across categories that no single producer covers.

Where we are

VLC TRADE GROUP SL, C/ Literato Gabriel Miró 38, bajo, oficina 7, 46008 Valencia, Spain. We load from the Port of Valencia, which is one of the largest container ports in the Mediterranean and the reason the routing to the Black Sea and onward to the Caucasus and Central Asia works as well as it does.

Who you will deal with

A small team, which is the point. The person who quotes your order is the person who knows whether your list fits in one container, and you are not handed between departments between the enquiry and the loading plan.

On the ground

Twenty manufacturers is a relationship, not a list

Representation has to be worked at. These are from the fairs and producer visits behind the brands on this site.

We are at most of the European food fairs through the year. This is how the manufacturer list gets built and kept current.

Most of a fair is this: sitting down with a producer and going through what can actually be shipped, in what format, to which market.

Send us the list and the destination country

A product list and a destination country are enough for a loading plan, the documents your border will want, and a price.
