Cheese and dairy is our second largest line by volume and the easiest one to consolidate, because most of it shares the chilled regime that the charcuterie already needs.
The range splits in two. Chilled cheese, yoghurt and butter travel in a reefer. UHT milk is ambient and has a long shelf life, which makes it the single most forgiving product we ship on the longer Central Asian routes.
It does not need a reefer. On a route where a chilled load would be marginal, an ambient container of UHT and juice is often the better first order, and it costs less to move.

These are confirmed per order and per manufacturer, because nearly every item above exists in several formats and the right one depends on whether it is going to a retail shelf or a kitchen. Ask for the specification sheet on any group and we will send the exact pack data before you quote your own customer. Prices are quoted per order, never listed, because they move with volume, Incoterm and destination.

Four dairies, two countries
Spanish and Polish production, which matters here because Polish dairy is priced and specified differently from Spanish and the two together cover a much wider shelf.
Which of these we can ship into your market depends on the representation agreement in place there. Tell us your country with your list and we will confirm brand by brand before you quote anything to your own customer.

Dairy is a product of animal origin
Which means it carries the same veterinary requirement as meat, at every border we ship to. It catches buyers who expect milk to be treated like an ambient grocery item.
- Veterinary health certificate Required for every consignment of products of animal origin. Issued for the specific load, the specific establishment numbers and the specific destination.
- EUR1 movement certificate Establishes preferential origin where the trade agreement between the EU and your country provides for it, which is usually what makes the duty calculation work.
- Manufacturer certification Food safety certification is held by the producing establishment, not by us. We tell you which manufacturer holds what for the items on your list.
- Cold chain records For the chilled part of the load, temperature records travel with the consignment. Ambient UHT does not need them, which is one reason it is simpler to ship long distances.
It is a distinction your authority will make, so we make it too. VLC TRADE GROUP SL is the exporter of record and prepares the export documentation. IFS, BRC, ISO 22000, HACCP, halal and kosher belong to the manufacturer and to the individual product.

They travel in a reefer and load naturally with meat and charcuterie in the same box.
UHT milk is ambient
Long shelf life, no reefer, and it tolerates the longer road and rail routes to Central Asia that a chilled load struggles with.
Format changes the pallet, not the price alone
Grated, sliced and portioned cheese occupy very different volumes for the same weight. We size the load on your actual format mix, not on tonnage alone.
Consolidate across the two regimes deliberately
If you want chilled cheese and ambient UHT in one shipment, that is two temperature regimes and usually two containers. We say so before you order, not after.

What is the minimum order?
One full container. It does not have to be one product. You can mix this line with any other line we carry into the same container, which is what most of our buyers do.
Does dairy need a veterinary certificate like meat does?
Yes. Milk and cheese are products of animal origin, so a veterinary health certificate is issued for the consignment exactly as it is for meat. Buyers new to dairy import are often surprised by this.
Can I mix chilled cheese and ambient UHT milk in one container?
Not in the same box, because they need different temperature regimes. UHT held at chilled temperature is not damaged, but you would be paying reefer rates to move an ambient product. We normally advise splitting them or loading each with products that share its regime.
What cheese formats are available?
Wheel, block, portioned, sliced retail pack and grated, depending on the item and the dairy. Format drives pallet volume more than weight does, so tell us the format when you send your list.
What does it cost?
Price is quoted per order, because it moves with volume, Incoterm and destination. Send your product list and your destination country and we come back with a quote, a loading plan and the document set.
