Who we sell to here
Importers and distributors buying full containers. Supermarket chains and HoReCa wholesalers mostly buy through them, which is why this site talks to the importer rather than the retailer.

EUR1 matters more here than almost anywhere
The EU and Ukraine have a trade agreement with preferential tariff treatment, and the EUR1 movement certificate is what unlocks it for a given consignment. On a full container the duty difference is not a rounding error, so this is the first document we prepare and the first thing to check when you compare a landed cost against another supplier's quote.
The document set for this border
Products of animal origin, which means all meat and charcuterie and all cheese and dairy, need a veterinary health certificate issued for the specific consignment and the specific approved establishment. Products of plant origin need phytosanitary documentation where the destination requires it. Alcohol adds the excise regime and needs your own import licence.
Brand availability in Ukraine depends on the representation agreement in place for that brand in this market, and in some categories an existing distributor already holds it. We would rather tell you no on one line than have you build a listing around something we cannot ship.
Routing and transit
Sea routing from the Port of Valencia to the Black Sea, then onward inland. Transit is materially shorter than to Central Asia, which widens what can travel: chilled loads and shorter shelf life products are practical here in a way they are not on the Kazakh or Uzbek routes.

We work in Ukrainian and Russian as well as English and Spanish. Write in whichever is easiest and you will get a reply in the same language.
